The Thing has competed with some of the stronger versions of the Hulk on occasion, which is more than enough for him to wreck Luffy in terms of pure power. Whether or not Luffy's resistance against blunt force can help him here is debatable, but considering the difference, I doubt it.

Human Torch could potentially also kill Luffy due to fire's effect on rubber, with the peak versions of Human Torch having heat equal to the Sun's centre.

I would be curious if Luffy could break Sue Storms energy barrier. If not, she could probably just trap him in there and Human Torch can fill it with fire.

What are the conditions for her to be able to trap him with a barrier? And if she could apply it would she coat the ground or is she likely to leave it, allowing Luffy to escape downwards? And how is the barrier broken through directly? With sheer physical power and if so what were the weakest impacts that ever broke through?

How effective would conqueror's haki be against any of the FF?

As with comics, her powers aren't perfectly consist. For the most part, the stronger the force inside her barrier, the more strain it puts on her. She can form the barrier into crude shapes, mostly a bubble though when it comes to trapping. It has also taken the form of a flat wall, a dome, that sort of stuff.

Without Human Torch, this fight can go on forever. Reed Richards has always incapacitated The Thing pretty easily on many occasions with his stretchy powers, so I see Luffy doing the same. In fact I am not sure how relevant Thing is here at all when it comes to hand to hand combat.

The only option I see as a betting man is Reed being a super genius and figuring something out. Other than that, it could just be he and Luffy punching each other into eternity. I am however unfamiliar with the later years of Luffy, and how much power he gained.

He has Red Hawk that for some unexplained reason makes his arm go on fire. Otherwise outside of his conqueror's haki he only has blunt force attacks. Blunt force wise he can bust up city blocks from either above or below. @Super Saiyan @Captain Cadaver what are Luffy's top physical impact power feats nowadays?

I can't say I recall anything too specific from the New World, wolf. With Gear 4 he punched Doflamingo like 2 cities away.

Sounds like its about the limits of what Sue Storm can contain. She can hold him, but not for long.
