Lugia vs. Ho-oh

Ho-Oh personally, but that's because ever since the early 2000's I've been playing the versions Ho-Oh is a mascot in, Gold and HeartGold. In my first playthrough of Gold I even taught Ho-Oh Zap Cannon just to beat Lugia, lol

I grew up owning Gold so Lugia was more mystic to me. In the end I think I like Lugia more, but these two are nothing compared to the three legendary birds from Blue/Red.

Battle-wise, Lugia is marginally better due to better defence, a great variation in its movepool and Curse being a useful way to make up for its slightly inferior attack.

As far as personal favouritism, I'd still go with Lugia, mainly for it having more of a nostalgia factor due to the 2nd movie and its ost in that film being too good to ignore, not to mention having a more intimidating design.
