M3 Piccolo vs. Vegeta (Beginning of Namek)

Piccolo in M3 is scaled at 18K, I go with a 1.25x boost with him removing his weights so I have him at 22.5K. Vegeta at this point in time was 24K and manhandled Zarbon and Dodoria who I put at 20 & 22K respectively but I credit this to them being lazy. Didn't Vegeta say something along the lines of them getting too comfortable being Frieza's top men and not doing anything while he was out fighting? Regardless I have them almost as equals so who do you think wins this?

Vegeta wins. As you said yourself, Piccolo should still be weaker and he doesn't have the moveset necessary to make up for it at this point. Vegeta's not going to let him charge up a Makankosappo, unless you believe the one he used on Tullece had at least a slight amp.

I agree Vegeta would win. Piccolo would certainly provide him more of a challenge than Dodoria and Zarbon. But just like Piccolo with his SBC, I doubt Piccolo would let Vegeta charged up the Galick Gun. It would definitely be a spectacle. Piccolo is almost as keen a fighter as Vegeta but I still side with Vegeta 6 maybe 7/10
