So are there any manga that you've read that don't have an anime version yet that you'd like to see an anime version of?

Or perhaps a manga that already has a shitty anime version of and you'd like a good anime version of it.

As for me I'll have to go with the second option for Berserk as that's basically the only manga I've read that doesn't already have a decent anime version. :giraffe

The 1997 version still exists. :CC

Even though it had a terrible cliffhanger and cut out a few key details, what it adapted it adapted well overall. Hell, some cuts could even be considered better than the manga's decisions, such as removing the Wyald events makes the Apostles far more mysterious and the twist of the Eclipse far more unexpected.

As for my choice, definitely anime adaptions for Battle Angel Alita and it's sequel Last Order (not too bothered about whether or not Mars Chronicle would get one though). Also Lone Wolf and Cub.

For a poor or incomplete adaption, either an adaption of Rurouni Kenshin's Jinchu Arc to give it's anime a solid ending and not the asspulled special lineage of Yahiko or whatever the anime went with. Either that, or an adaption of Kinnikuman Nisei that isn't completely censored, or at least an adaption of it's Demon Seed Arc.

I'd say the following:

Remake of post-GA Berserk that isn't CGI'd

Ryuroden

Kurosagi

complete 3x3 Eyes

Shin Angyo Onshi

Real & Slam Dunk w/o :toei faggotry

Lone Wolf and Cub

I want Slam Dunk national games to be adapt to anime. It was really a good and happy ending for me at least and would love to see a sequel with Sakuragi returning from injury.

I'd say right at the top of my thoughts.

Captain-Tsubasa

Yeah, there's the first anime which covered the first two arcs and then also the OVA series which covered the third arc of the original series but after that all we got were attempts at trying to get past the first series or just animes that came-out just in time for the world-cup (so essentially cashing-in on the world-cup instead of trying to animate the whole series). At this point there are like 4 or 5 ways of watching the first two arcs. I'd say they can animate the whole series and do that Road to 2002 style. The art and animation of that series was the best and music was also kewl. Just this time maybe tell the story linearly, like it was intended to even-though I did like the flash-back approach but we're trying to keep faithful to the manga).

Other one maybe 20th Century-Boys. I was kind-of suprised there was no anime for this even-though I don't know this series.

Merged the topics since they're basically the same thing.

Aside from my previous post, I could've said 20th Century Boys if SHC hadn't already. A Kongo Bancho adaptation could also be good if done by a studio like David Production due to how much of a love letter it is to older Shonen (and is far better than its mangaka's current work). It would also be pretty interesting to see Ichi the Killer and Homunculus translate over to animated form. :manabu2
Eden: It's an Endless World would be pretty interesting to release in the current era given how many themes and topics it'd explore that'd trigger the easily offended snowflakes. I could also mention Onanie Master Kurosawa, though the ending is quite disappointing and overall it's just a mini version of Welcome to the NHK. Real would also be another one worth mentioning if not for it having no part that could act as a good cutoff point before the hiatus would force it to end (assuming Inoue were to go back on his no anime policy for his works).

As far as individual arcs, I'd want the Vinland Saga anime to adapt Farmland and maybe the current arc (at least as a Season 2), so that the anime can actually cover Thorfinn's character development, not to mention the pacing would be a lot better in anime form. Also a remake of Berserk's Black Swordsman, Lost Children and Tower Arcs without ClanGI (or at least Vinland Saga's smooth transitions between 2D and 3D), though avoiding adapting Berserk altogether seems preferable at this point.
