Information on Mecha Freeza is pretty scarce, but we have a few things to go on:

Freeza: “That wouldn’t satisfy me…I want to make [Goku] well acquainted with my powered-up self…”

Yamcha: “So this guy called ‘Fr…Freeza’ has such terrible…ab…absurdly large ki…?”
Gohan: “This isn’t it…he gets much, much stronger…!”

Freeza: “We can definitely defeat him if we go at him together, Papa. And I’ve powered up too, so I think I can probably go alone.”

Daizenshuu:

Freeza had tenaciously been revived and became a demon of vengeance. Through mechanization, he had obtained even more gigantic power, but he is completely powerless before Super Saiyan Trunks. Easily dodging Freeza's sneak attack, Trunks finely chops up Freeza and then finally eradicates the remaining pieces.

We know he gained power, but how much do you believe he gained? Do you think the Mecha upgrade made it so he could access his full-power without bulking up? I feel like this would probably make his stamina less of an issue if he were able to fight more freely at full-power. Unfortunately there's no way to tell based on what little we know.

I have no problem with theorizing that ''die'' blast he fired against Trunks was his full power.

and it makes the most sense. It sets up the androids as fierce opponents cuz the guy who beat frieza effortlesly cant do a damn against them

I agree. I also think Freeza obtained power surpassing Goku's, and that Trunks was far stronger than both (I interpret the "same ki as dad" statement in a different way)

Hes not completely sure he can beat him but pretty sure so probably the same gap as him and goku when frieza wasnt tired af where goku would likely beat him but not without a fight

I remember back when I had the power levels like this:

Namek Super Saiyan Goku: 150 million
Mecha Freeza: 151 million

I still laugh at that.

Never fear, my first list had Mecha Freeza clocked in at 20 million.

That was before you were apart of the 100 million crowd, right?

Because I didn't think Super Saiyan Goku had a power level higher than 5 million way back.

Since he only said "probably", his power would most likely be only minimally above SSJ Goku, so not too much of a boost. As for his access to 100%, I don't have a problem with him being able to access it without bulking, considering it'd be just pure retarded to not go all out against an obvious Super Saiyan after a crushing defeat against another. However, the lack of any sort of reaction from the Z-Warriors saying something like "His Ki just skyrocketed" makes me doubtful on that.

It quite depends on if he solved his stamina issues or not. He may be a bit weaker or a bit stronger than Namek Goku based on this.

I doubt he was at full power. He was showed to buff when using full power, and nobody noticed his ki increasing. More like he fired an amped blast at Trunks.

He didn't gain power, he in fact was at around 1 million units more or less, which is much, much less energy than he had on Namek (and this is proven by is performance in his fight against Trunks, fight that he did in his full-power because he had no reason to not go all out against him).

Freeza said he gained power. Every source says he gained power.

As usual, you're wrong.

Sure, Yamcha thinks nobody has a shot against Freeza despite Piccolo, Vegeta and maybe even Gohan being stronger than him.

Yes, Freezer said he gained power, and he also said he was stronger than his father.
Look, it's absolutely obvious that Freezer has a wrong idea about his power, as Gohan's statement is much more reliable: he can sense energies, and Mecha's energy was "nothing" compared to what he showed them in Namek.

The debate is OVER when you look at the hard facts:
Mecha Freezer's performance is IDENTICAL to his father's while transformed in a contention form (just a bit faster, nothing remarkable). We know Freezer was stronger than Cold, and we know Freezer's strength at the same form Cold appears. So at best, Cold should be as strong as Freezer was at that same form.

And we have Gohan saying his power is much lower, plus the fact that he doesn't power up -which means that he was already at his maximum strength-.

Freezer only thinks he is stronger because the only perceivable aspect of his body clearly improved, which was his stamina. He can always go at 100% of his strength now without forcing his body (something he was aware of even before doing it for the first time at Namek and that was the cause of his defeat there).
But Freezer didn't train nor measured his strength as is apparent by the fact that both him and his father have the same wrong impression -his father still accepts his son's superiority despite this not being the case anymore-.

Sure, everybody has their energy suppressed to not be detected and Yamcha must suddenly know how strong Piccolo, Vegeta and Gohan were in Namek.
And sure, it wasn't Freezer's current energy that scared Vegeta, Piccolo or Gohan, they all knew that Freezer could transform to contain his power and even Gohan describes Mecha's power as it being NOTHING compared to the one Freezer showed in Namek.
So what is wrong with that? Are you implying that somehow Gohan, Vegeta or Piccolo should know something that not even Mecha Freezer was aware of?

You're still wrong. Trunks told him to attack him at full-power, which implies that he wasn't powered-up. Freeza has no reason to be powered-up when he's doing nothing and under the impression that Goku won't arrive for another 3 hrs. Freeza said he was more powerful than he was on Namek. Between the actual written character and the delusional ass fanboy who thinks Freeza is above Semi-Cell, I'll take the characters word.

Gohan's more reliable than a guy who can tell exactly what % of power he's utilizing. Sure.

Keep on being wrong. It's what you do best.

Nops, as usual, this is jumping to conclusions for your part. So Goku couldn't even tell that Freezer still had a lot of power in reserve after fighting him for a while, and now suddenly Trunks has real knowledge about Mecha's hidden power?

Evil Vegeta said:

If going at 100% has no impact in his strength anymore then there's no reason for him to contain his power either.

Are you saying Gohan is a delusional ass fanboy that thinks that Freezer was above Semi-Cell? He lied to Yamcha about Freezer's power because he wanted Freezer to be above Semi-Cell? Hhahahahahah you're the best, Evil Vegeta, the very best.

Evil Vegeta said:

1. Freezer only approximated the strength he was using, which is something even a normal human being can do. Everyone can tell if he is going 100% or not, even Raditz told Goku "I won't be hitting you at full force" because guess what, knowing if you're running at maximum speed or not is something EVERYONE can do.

So Freezer saying "this is only 50% of my strength" doesn't mean he can sense energies or that he knows how strong he is (he didn't even know the extact strength of his 2nd form).

2. Gohan can measure strengths and compare them. But it's not just Gohan. When Gohan says Mecha's power is NOTHING compared to what was shown in Namek and both Piccolo, Krilin and Vegeta accept that claim as true, it means they agree with Gohan in what he says.
So this is EVERYONE that can measure energies vs a guy that can't.

3. As always when discussing, you ignore everything that goes against your foolish believes.
- Mecha Freezer performing at the same level of transformed Cold alone is a HARD FACT that proves you wrong. Hey, you can make your own movies about why it makes no sense for Freezer to say this or that, or how good was Freezer measuring his own strength (even when we know for sure he couldn't) but in the end of the day, his power was comparable to his father while transformed in a form we know was much, much weaker than what you imply.
And that's besides the fact that Cold was weaker than his son.

- Mecha Freezer gets trashed by someone with the same strength Goku had at Namek. You've never read the manga and know nothing about the series, but believe me when I say that in Namek Freezer already fought SSJ Goku while being injured, and managed to match his strength.
So Injured Freezer = SSJ Namek Goku = SSJ Trunks. Non-Injured Freezer > Injured Freezer. Mecha Freezer > non-injured Freezer. And suddenly SSJ Trunks >>> Mecha Freezer?
Come on, even from you I expect a little more common sense!
