I saw about this & the synopsis might sound interesting to some. The base story sounds so interesting. There are some truly horrendous & disgusting points. In some-ways it sounds a-bit like a mix of Monster & 20th-Century-Boys (from what I heard I didn’t see it).

Was Naoki Urasawa inspired by this work?

Has anyone read it?

If Holly-Wood knew of this they might try & adapt this, but it’s too obscure most likely.

I've heard of it simply because it was Tezuka's last work, but I don't know anything about it. I just read the synopsis and it does sound pretty cool.

It also seems to have a Billy-Bat vibe from synopsis. Is this the series from him that inspired Naoki Urasawa the most? The conspiracy-vibe, half-Japanese protagonist, children being main-protagonist. Kind-of adds-up to-gether. Even art-style I think.

I tried looking into it and couldn't really find anything. But Urasawa was inspired by Tezuka in general.
