Do you think this statement, in which was said the Piccolo that hatched out of the egg is hardly any different from Piccolo Daimao mean baby Piccolo Junior ~ Piccolo Daimao (young)?

Didn't Kami say the new Piccolo had more power than the original on the lookout?

I know he told Goku that he was safe as long as he stayed on the lookout and trained. That kinda gives me the impression that Piccolo might've posed a threat to Goku had he left.

So Piccolo>Daimao at the most, Piccolo=Daimao at the least.

I just can't rationalize Daimao managing to birth someone stronger than himself while impaled and on the verge of death. I have him about equal to initial young Daimao and regard Kami's statement as referring to Pickle's dormant power.

Prior to that I swear I thought I heard somewhere that Piccolo was born just as powerful as the original incarnation. So Piccolo out of Egg = Young Piccolo-Daimao in-terms of power.

I don't think that is flat out stated, although it's stated that the new Piccolo has more power stored into him. Whether we take that to mean he is already > young Piccolo Daimao or just his potential is another story.

What about Kami stating the Piccolo that hatched out of it is hardly any different? I don't know if he was considering strength considering in the next panel Goku stated "Except this one is way stronger!!".

I'm going to assume that Piccolo Jr's latent potential was being referred to though I suppose Goku could've killed Piccolo Jr initially if he wasn't at least relatively close to his father in power as strange as that may be.

Kami's statement leaves it open to interpretation. Having more power could be referring to potential or just raw power. Training simply could've allowed him to better utilize the power on top of getting even stronger. Kami seems to feel a lot more comfortable with Goku staying on the lookout than not, since he could train and not have to worry about Piccolo hunting him down.

Goku's statement to Krillin seems to regard Piccolo as being naturally stronger than Daimao. The whole bit about training seemed to be further assessment on his progression.

I think it's clear that Goku was talking about Piccolo Jr personality as no different from King Piccolo. Unless I'm missing something here....
