What are the most discussable ones out there? For a series to be discussable I feel like the world/universe has to be some-what huge and there needs to be some ambiguity for discussion, which might later be tackled on by the series itself. The story definitely needs some layers to that and not spoon feed you everything. More up-to interpretation than saying in your face, that's the way it is without any avenues for discussion.

DragonBall isn't really in any-way discussable aside from power-levels or versus matches for the most part (and some other things), which all of have been done many times over for years.

I'd personally say One-Piece (also because the universe is consistent) and I don't like to admit it but probably Berserk too. Monster also fits well because of the interesting story and character backgrounds.

One Piece since it's still running for over 20 years now. But also other battle Shonen types like Naruto or bleach since it mostly about battle power at least to our demographic.

One Piece has a huge, expansive world that’s worth talking about. Power scaling is one thing but the worldbuilding and plot lend themselves to lots of in-depth discussion. It’s ability to actually foreshadow, a rarity in many long-running battle shounen (at least up to a certain point), drives lots of discussion too — just peep any OP discussion board and you’ll see readers theorizing about all sorts of things, from the short-term like the next team member to the long-term like what the true nature of All Blue actually is.

Something like Evangelion has a very dense lore and complex characters with interesting psyches. There’s a lot that’s intentionally left vague (or sometimes just outright confusing) so there’s a lot to unpack, which fans have been doing for nearly 25 years after the series conclusion.

LOGH I imagine has a lot worth discussing due to its sheer scale.

I feel that it’s kind of a hard thing to quantify sometimes since different people will get different things out of a show, but I guess you can see how something like Glasslip (idk) has less to talk about than other stuff.

Definitely One Piece out of anything I'm familiar with. There are 930 chapters at this point, and there are still many very important plotlines that have to be tied together. It feels like it has a ton of discussing potential, and there is still so much that is unknown to us.

Gr9 answers you gais.

And yeah, I think definitely the most discussable. I heard that maybe the One-Piece is some kind-of weapon in the red-line that will unite all the seas together or something.

Also the word I was looking for was ambiguous. :king :king :king

Some stuff there just isn't much to discuss about though. I also think from what I've seen Hayao Miyazaki movies can be discussed. For example I never understood who or what No-Face is but then I heard it's something to do with Japanese culture.

That’s a common theory but I hope not. That’s much too fruity of an ending for One Piece.

I'd say there honestly isn't as much to discuss on LotGH compared to most popular works bar character analysis and what-if scenarios. The large scale and density of the work in its conclusive and holistic nature leaves no loose ends or plot holes to discuss, which whilst good for the series' quality, is a detriment to making vast discussion on it.

As for the OP, I'd agree with your answer that it's probably either One Piece or Evangelion. The former is primarily due to its length, still being ongoing and relying (too heavily) on mystery-bait in its arcs after Thriller Bark. The latter is highly debatable due to, as you said, the complexity of the characters, varied interpretations of them and the plot as well as the debate of whether the symbolism of the series matters or not.

Gundam is also an honourable mention due to the length, long plot continuity of the Universal Century timeline and the fluctuating quality of each instalment, so basically the anime/manga equivalent of the Star Wars franchise when it comes to discussion.
