Most evil character

Out of all the mangas/animes you've read/watched, who is the most evil character in your opinion?

I'd say Dio Brandk from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure takes the cake. Have never seen someone so sadist as him, going as far as poisoning the man that treated him like a father, possessing a woman and making her eat her own baby.. shit was crazy.

He's a religious frantic who has a single minded determination to achieve his goals, that's to sum up his character.

I forgot about Zamasu. He and Freeza are the worst from the mortals and gods perspective of course.

King Cold, Freeza and Dio are good choices. Many villains at least have compassion for subordinates or family, but in Dio's case if I remember correctly he lost all of that by the time he was an adult and in Freeza's case while he seemed to care about his father, he seemed to have no genuine care for Dodoria or Zarbon, seeing as he threatened Zarbon with death if he didn't get the dragon balls back from Vegeta. King Cold possible didn't even care much for Freeza, since he asks Trunks to be his new son, but there's always the possibility that this was just a ploy to get a chance to get Trunks to let his guard down and then take revenge on him.
