The problem is how did Goku get 2.5x stronger by DBS, since it has been shown that, the periods he does not achieve new forms or does
something special with his training, he has minimal gains (ex. 5 years between 23rd-BOZ, 3 years between Freeza-Androids)? To make matters
worse, you threw that AT's recent statement that Buu Saga Goku couldn't become stronger at all before achieving the god status.

It's impossible for Goku to grow stronger since the Majin Boo Saga -it's stated several times by Toriyama from three fuckin' different interviews. Yet he's regarded as the strongest person whom fought Beerus as quoted by Beerus himself. So the only way this is plausible is if he was stronger all along.
