This is Goku after he got healed from Sense Beans so he must have gotten a zenkai boost at least. Also he can use a Kaioken upto 4x and no strain Vs The Ginyu Force without Captain Ginyu.

Goku's Zenkai probably wasn't one that'd bring him much further than 10-12k, given he still found the idea of facing someone stronger than Vegeta extremely exciting and nobody commented on the size of his Zenkai. At best, Goku and Nail would take down one of 3 mid tier Ginyu members each before becoming two fatigued to defeat the third. Add in that Gurd's abilities would prove a decent distraction and the duo are at a pretty big disadvantage.
