I found this strength ranking in a Japanese site/forum. With the help of google translator, I could at least unspderstand the gist of it:

SS ranking : World Top Class
S ranking : Top Pirates, but still a little below the SS
A ranking : Top pirates
B ranking : 2nd class pirates
C ranking : 3rd class pirates

The Admirals are not above Kaido/Big Mom. That's disgusting. Rayleigh is certainly not that weak. Blackbeard equal to the other Yonko at best.

Yeah, the Shiki thing seems stupid. Apparently they consider him below Caesar Clown. Unless they consider movie Shiki, who was defeated by pre TS Luffy iirc. Either that or that was made when Caesar was still a mysterious guy (I remember people thinking he was an admiral when he had yet to be fully explored).

But regarding Marco, it's worthy noting he was Whitebeard's 2nd in command, which could give him a lead over the others Yonko's commanders like Katakuri, Jack and so on, considering Whitebeard was the strongest next to Roger, it seems.

Marco survived a tilt with Blackbeard and his crew, so to have him so low is an absolute joke. Lower than Doflamingo? Lol wut.

Anyway, it's just off, man. Even the Sweet Commanders fear Big Mom when she's enraged, and Kaido has been hyped to no end. They're way above the admirals.

Yeah, I was saying Marco should be stronger than the others Yonko's commanders. I think he's above Katakuri and Jack.

BTW, the Admirals are also really overhyped, since Aokiji's 1st appearance. They are what the Marine has to better offer. I wouldn't be surprised if they were at Big Mom and Kaido's level. They are supposed to somewhat balance the world of Marines vs Pirates, and if they were << a Yonko alone, let alone the Yonko + crew it'd seem a bit underwhelming imo.

3 admirals couldn't beat Whitebeard. It's not implied that WB was drastically above the other Yonko. If that were the case, they wouldn't share an equal amount of territory.

Whitebeard should be considerably stronger than Akainu when enraged, but when not boosted by the angry he felt over Ace's death, Akainu was managing to keep up with him. The way everyone referred to Whitebeard makes me think he is considerably stronger than the other Yonkos as well, and even Mihawk seems to treat himself as obviously weaker than WB, wondering what the gap between them was.

I don't see the problem with an angry Whitebeard managing to do the same with Shanks for instance, and whereas Akainu was clearly overpowered, he did the most lasting damage to Whitebeard than everything Whitebeard did at him (destroying half of his face).

Didn't WB have a huge knife through his body and half his head missing? Plus he was half dead before the battle even started anyway. I think it makes the Admirals look worse if anything.

He got his half dead missing after the 2nd fight with Akainu. Dunno exactly how he was when they first fougnt.
