Not really. Most of the jokes only come off as funny to someone who hasn't seen enough manga/anime to have heard most of them before. The main shtick of the protagonist being unbeatable also gets old quick and him eventually taking the fight against Boros seriously betrays even that core premise.

Only worthwhile aspect of the series is the art, which is admittedly really good.

I'm always surprised when I see someone on twitter saying how much they like Saitama one punching people or him monologuing about how string he is and how it sucks. He's literally been doing for over 5 years at this point. It's the most overrated franchise at this point.

Season 1 is peak anime in terms of production quality for a series. Good if you want some entertainment. Apart from that it's just decent, but at least it's not another MHA/Naruto/Blue Exorcist clone.
