Orochimaru: There's no way you could kill me, eh? Even if you're strong...you're no stronger than Kakashi, so...

Jiraiya: That punk with the glasses is about as strong as Kakashi.

Who wins?

Kakashi wins due to far greater variation in jutsu via the Sharingan and having far more ranged techniques. Kabuto has more variation in terms of Release types, though most of the sources reinforcing this were from Part 2 material and could easily be attributed to him tampering with his own genetics, given how it'd otherwise contradict the limited performance he showed against Naruto.

Doesn't Kabuto have that regeneration jutsu? That could help him.

Kabuto mostly got owned because of PIS (still didn't lose though). On-top of that he got hit by a technique that only Jiraiya and the fourth could ever perform. Something that was thought impossible for him to learn in that amount of time, so it caught him off-guard too to an extent. Could Kakashi take it head-on?

Now you're just being unfair. Kakashi has no chance against that Kabuto.

What about Kabutops?

It takes him a while to fully heal though. Kakashi wouldn't waste the opportunity of the type of opening that would provide.

I'd agree to the off-guard part, as well as probably the PIS part when considering Sharingan Sasuke in the following arc could stalemate it with the Chidori. Still, I'd say you could also make the argument of Kabuto being a class cannon. He isn't that well known for fighting in a direct, melee confrontation (especially with him putting up the facade of being a failure Genin for so long) and quite reliant on his medical jutsu, compared to a veteran of countless battles and constant equal to a taijutsu expert like Guy as Kakashi is.

I thought he could heal almost instantly only the rasengan did so much damage to him internally. On-top of that wasn't Kabuto able to do that regenerative thing mid-rasengan-attack, so he still had his wits about him. He was also able to react to and block that poison attack that he barely saw coming with his headband.

Definitely PIS, considering one of Kabuto's arms was the only thing blocked by Naruto's hand? What happened to punching and kicking with others? :troll :troll :troll
