It's anime. Many characters have naturally white hair.

that's also his voice (even-tho that's anime too) & toons i think.

to me the toons seem like and old meng trying to desperately hold-on to his child-hood or so i think i think.

I definitely thought he was older when I watched the anime. The english dub made him sound like some pretentious 45 year old man.

He was also married, so that made him appear older to me. And in Yu-Gi-Oh R, he had a son, so...

But all of the characters seem older than they are. They're all high-schoolers but I didn't think that when I watched.

also the way he talked to yugi & others i think. kaiba-boi & yugi-boi & so-on i think. at 24 a-lot of ppl seemingly are or try to still be hip i think i think, but pegasus seemed old i think.

i thought they were still high-school age but that might also be because yugi & jounouchi also wore their high-school uni-forms quite a-bit iirc & we saw them in high-school i think.
