Piccolo Daimao's Full Power

Why does using his full power eat away at his life span? I don't see why that makes any fucking sense, as it was never seen with other characters, nor did it carry over to Piccolo Junior.

Could be because he wished himself to be young and wasn't naturally young anymore, so he exceeds the power he should be at normally (full-power old).

To be honest though his Initial power probably still exceeds the full-power of his old self greatly, but I assume that the extra strain of going and using full-power could be an explanation there.

Only thing is, shouldn't the trait carry over to Piccolo Junior? He technically should not be nearly as strong as he was birthed from an unnatural being.

It was a very strange concept meant to make PD appear like some god. Clearly he was not.

Perhaps because Majunior and Daimao are different entities, only with similar qualities and the shared connection to kami. We know that Kami was a Dragon Clan prodigy (and thus PD is too), but Piccolo Jr. was a fighter type Namekian meaning he had a different body type.

Also @Fantastische Hure that's a good explanation, but he never accesses his true power after rejuvenating until fighting Goku, so it might just be an issue with him overall from before he was sealed in the Mafuba jar. Perhaps his FP strains him so much because when Kami split, he kept the bulk of his power for himself while Daimao was obviously far weaker based on old Kami >> Popo >> young Daimao?

I prefer to ignore that line and replace it with something like ''it puts a lot strain on my body'', like it happens with anyone who hasn't
fought in full power since forever. Also, as TFS King Piccolo would say: ''WHY DIDN'T I WISH FOR IMMORTAILITY?''

He's never tested out his full power after being restored. If he has knowledge of it shortening his life, it would have had to been doing that since before he was sealed.
