God damn, was the first chapter supposed to be 200+ pages long or did the place I read it at put a bunch of chapters together?

Anyway, so far so good, Guts is badass as fuck and damn does he sure love cleaving people in half.

Puck is the cute mascot/comic relief character I'm guessing. Why is he naked though?

I love how that snake dude went from acting all high and mighty to begging for his life like a little bitch.

They are the Black Swordsman arc. Like I said, read it first, don't skip anything. They are the perfect set up for a guy's ascension. They say you will kind of get spoiled if you read 00a to 00i first, but the spoiler is pretty much predictable by some of the happenings in the Golden Age, if you ask me. Golden Age also kind of starts a bit slow, so reading the Black Swordsman first will keep your interest on it and make you constantly ask yourself how things got to that point. Showing a story to a certain point and then flashbacking and showing how it got to that point is a common strategy employed in mangas like OP and works really fine with Berserk. Just read it in the order, don't skip.

Yeah, I think I was a bit overblown in the way I did say, but that's because I got a very good experience when reading the Black Swordsman arc first and can't imagine having this good of an experience if skipping it then after the Golden Age going back to it. Sorry. But yeah, I can't say which way Pocket-God will enjoy more, I can just speak for myself. Sorry for anything.
