Legendary Pictures is launching the film. That's a pretty legit film company who is responsible for The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception and Interstellar.

I'm sure a Pokemon live action movie has started and stopped multiple times over the years. However, considering the film company involved and the recent upsurge of Pokemon GO! This may actually happen.

The name of the movie is "Detective Pikachu"

Hope it's not a flop because the name is making it sound like it will be

For some reason I'm not liking this. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, & Interstellar. The latter 4 are some of my favorites and Interstellar was one of my favorites of 2014 but I just have a bad feeling about this. Maybe it's the past history with anime to live action but still.

"Detective Pikachu" doesn't fill me with hope. I would have rather seen something closer to season 1 of the anime and then branch out from there. Get the basics down and then get weird.
