I've recently started playing Platinum myself for the first time in five years. I'm kind of kicking myself now, because I just found out about Pokémon Renegade Platinum: a Platinum romhack that's harder with nice things like a randomised elite four, infinite TMs and being able to catch every mon without trading or owning multiple games.

All of Drayano's hacks are generally worth playing, although the older ones might not hold up as much. Renegade Platinum I think is the most recent and best one, but he's also romhacked HGSS, ORAS, and I believe BW1/BW2 (I think he's working on a BW2 hack right now but I don't remember if he's also done one before).
