Pokemon Trading Card Game

Does anyone here play this? I've been reading/watching more about it and I think I might start playing it. I already have 300+ cards from years ago but I'm pretty sure they're mostly fake. I think I'll play the Gameboy Color game, and then the online game, and if I git gud I might look for irl competitions.

I have the game on GBC and I used to play it a lot as a kid. I don't recall ever winning the game, though.

i know how to play and have some cards but i just dont have time for it.
Yugioh and CFV take the cake for me spending money and playing those games that pokemon just gets left in the dust.

I've played it from time to time. My cousin was once a pretty competent professional in the TCG, having been the Champion of his regionals and Runner-Up of the UK Nationals just under a decade ago, so I learnt a lot of it from him playing. The expense of building a good deck, however, is a big turn off for me, though, so I just stick with the video games.
