Vegeta puts up a good fight but I don't think Gohan is retarded enough to let him land a FF or something else that could be a game changer. He gets beaten mid-diff eventually, since he knew he was shit compared to Goku who's only somewhat above Gohan.

People seem to take Piccolo too seriously... He is so weak he cant tell the difference... Also he says Vegeta is perhaps even stronger implies to e like he corrects himself... Vegeta said SSjin 2 Goku who is his equal, is stronger than CG Gokhan so he is stronger by a decent margin... Like 25% stronger imo.... The all Goku is just a little stronger is idiotic and baseless as Vegeta says he is stronger...

Vegeta says that Goku is "stronger", not "considerably stronger". Putting both Vegeta and Piccolo's statements together should make you come to the obvious conclusion that Goku and Vegeta are stronger, just not by a lot. Seems pretty silly to me to argue that Piccolo's statement was only put in just to be discarded.
