Q reads Blame!

It appears to be set in a futuristic world where the human race has been wiped out. There seem to be new mutant species that exist now that are running the world. Kyrii and his young brother (?) seem to be the only two survivors of the original human race left even though they look kind of alien themselves.

I’m starting from chapter 1 again so I don’t miss anything.

It seems the mutants communicate by connecting a wire in their head to a port on another. Very futuristic.

It’s hard to imagine these beasts having any genetic connection the the human race..

The mutants seem to be hunting Kyrii and the kid down, making note that the kid is special to them.. they call the pair of them “genotypes before the infection.” What infection could cause you to turn into some radiation damaged beast?

The mutants seem to have laser beams or guns built into their bodies. Kyrii only has a gun from what I can tell but it’s super OP.
