Question about Fat Boo

When Fat Boo was divided into two Boo, it was also stated that Evil Boo has majority of Fat Boo's power.

My question is, which version of Fat Boo? The one who fought Goku or the enrage Fat Boo.

More than likely the split was between all the power Fat Boo had at his disposal, aka when he was utterly enraged.

fat buu is as strong as super buu

but hes fat so being overweight reduces his power a lot

If its Enrage Fat Boo then Grey Boo should be stronger than SS3 Goku while Vegeta is confident to take Grey Boo or Fat Boo with Goku's help.

If we go by Enraged Fat Buu being a lot stronger than what Goku fought, i have no problem placing Grey Buu
above Kid Buu/SSJ3 Goku tier.

But Vegeta doesnt have a problem against Good Boo or Grey Boo since Goku is there to fight.

There's a difference here though.

Vegeta knew who is Grey Boo and Fat Boo. He doesn't know Pure Boo and even underestimate him.

Vegeta didnt know how powerful he was because he didnt know exactly how much of fat Buu's power he had. Also if fat Buu while splitting is stronger than his previous self he can't speculate anything about it.
But ofc he had no problem because Goku was there since Goku is stronger than fat Buu before splitting then he should be stronger than this guy.
And if fat Buu did get some sort of boost from splitting grey buu's and Goku's comparison would depend on how big of a boost it was.

Piccolo wasn't worried about Grey Boo's strength and still think that the fusion is enough to win.

After Super Boo was born, Piccolo was hopeless and need the kids to train in Rosat as much possible. In other words

SS Gotenks > Grey Boo

SS3 Goku shouldn't be much different to Gotenks.

There you go then, Goku can beat grey buu but we have to keep in mind SSJ3 is leads above SSJ2 so In my mind, I cant say the same for Vegeta he was probably so confident because he had Goku with him. Alone I doubt he'd fare well.

Goku had no idea, that Gray Buu even existed.


Piccolo's reactions to Gray Buu aren't even shown and it doesn't mean Gray Buu couldn't be his equal.
Piccolo only sent them immediately to the chamber, because Super Buu found them and they were no match for him.
Also, Gray Buu's feats put him above Pure Buu.

If you're going to say stuff like Piccolo's reaction wasn't shown then I can say splitting didnt give him a boost automatically making grey buu weaker. Piccolo's reaction wasn't shown for a reason, it probably dozen matter.
Because it was never stated he got a boost.

Except there is some indirect evidence implying he got stronger, in fact, strong enough for his parts to be both SSJ3 tier.
