Why did the King of the world just when I heard the voice of Mr. Satan, I raised his hands to contribute with the energy of the Genkidama and not when Goku spoke with the telepathy of Kaiosama, being that the King of the World knew and admired Goku?

In the anime, Freezer, Cell and company, heard the voices of Suno, Octavio, Upa and Bora through the Crystal Ball, when they were contributing energy to Goku's Genkidama?

Actually, all Enma does is tell Goku not to give up because everyone from the Otherworld sent him their Chi. I don't recall him only doing it when Hercule asked. Same with Tien. Was this Anime only?
