Radditz was a chad but a dumb one at that. What do you think the ceiling on his potential was? Assuming he got unlocks like Guru and Old Kaio can provide and proper training, can he reach the Buu Saga tier and beyond or does he cap out on Namek?

He was a real brute and shares blood with Goku. Beyond that I'd have to put in more thought. He's not smart enough or dedicated to do the kind of training we see with Galu and Vegeta though.

I'm not sure what it would actually be but I personally would like to put him around Piccolo power wise since I could see them as being rivals after Vegeta becomes Goku's rival instead of Piccolo.

I mean, I certainly put him past the Ginyu Force and several forms of Freeza. Beyond that is where I slow down my reckoning.

I guess it really depends on if he gets Super Saiyan or not.

It's something I don't see happening, as it quickly went from being a rage based ability from the savagery of saiyan blood to a "good guy" saiyan ability. He doesn't seem like the type to have enough motivation to make the transformation occur.

Vegeta and Goku got it through anger, so did Future Trunks. Goten and Kid Trunks got it because their fathers were already Super Saiyans. Cabba got it because he was angry also if I remember correctly, meanwhile Caulifla got it with her tingly back. Now that I'm think of it, I don't think I remember how Gohan got Super Saiyan lol.

Considering how Vegeta and Goku are both pushed as prodigies amongst the Saiyans, I don't see Raditz as being someone who can keep up with them if by his prime he was barely above a Saibaiman of all things despite going through the same experiences as Nappa and Vegeta (most likely).

Assuming we were to go with Raditz becoming a good guy and having enough plot armouring as the other characters to reach his peak, I could see him being akin to Piccolo in his role; a top tier for a good portion of the series until hitting a wall and being left in the dust. Under the assumption he has enough S-Cells ( :cena) to go SSJ and maybe the further forms, I could see him remaining relevant for a lot longer than Piccolo, but lagging behind the other Saiya People when given the same training after the Rosat and onwards.

There's also the chance he stays a thug and eventually becomes the butt of all the jokes. Perhaps a better world where :Krillin is still relevant and Radditz is General Hux.

The Chad Raditz needs no such charity.

...Also, he got his own What If in BT2 that's better than about 90% of the What-Ifs in DB Games, so there's that.

Double Sunday could become the Triple Sunday if he trained hard enough.

Just a few of the facts:

- Was beaten by an amplified attack at the cost of Goku's life because it was the only way. Even during the next time Goku dies, it was only because Gohan dropped the ball rather than being faced with an absolute Titan of an opponent.
- Had to be removed from the plot rather than converted like Piccolo so the Saiyan Arc wouldn't end after he makes training GAINZ.
- Not in Dragon Ball FighterZ. With the amount of respect the games gave Tenshithands, Yamcha and Nappa by making them near enough top tier, Raditz would be the true meta if added.
- Voiced by Shigeru Chiba, proving Buggy's charisma capable of rising to Shichibukai status is due to him being the reincarnation of Raditz.
- Dominates all that he can. Most likely banged more women than the units of his power level and didn't have to settle for Yamcha's sloppy seconds like Vegeta.
- Only villain that Goku hasn't beat in a rematch after having lost to them in some form of the anime (illusion Raditz in Super doesn't count).
- Had an illusion of him created based on Kuririn's fears despite having done far less than the other illusion villains present. The tail slap haunted Kuririn's nightmares as much as Nappa's blows, Freeza's horn/psychokinesis and Dabura's spit.

So much potential that he added a second d to his name.

His potential is probably pretty low if he's been fighting alongside Vegeta and Nappa for 20+ years and still ends up on par with a Saibaman.
