Raditz: 1200 or 1500?

I go with 1250. 1500 is almost 1.3x stronger than the Saibamen's 1200 which is too much of a gap to just be within rivaling range imo. Raditz being scared shitless of Gohan's 1307 level and being severely damaged by a headbutt from someone whose power is under 7/8ths of himself sounds dumb too imo. Reading the fight I never got the impression that Raditz's power was above 1300, especially when he said that Piccolo's 1330 Makankosappo would kill him and he had some trouble blocking Galu's 924-ish Kamehameha. The Daizenshuu can suck a dick too when most of its levels are copied and pasted from the WSJ levels which were notoriously inaccurate (180 for 22nd Roshi? Really?).

Closer to the 1,200 benchmark, I'd say 1,250. Toriyama stated that the Saibaimen were comparable to him but slightly inferior, and him being stronger than Yamcha at the time the latter got kamikaze'd makes little sense when the whole Saibaimen fight was treat as a benchmark to Raditz. Moreover, it's difficult to imagine Raditz getting so damaged from a headbutt of a kid at 1,307 that a Galu with broken ribs could keep him in a full nelson for a while even when taking into account his anime statement about nobody doing that much damage to him before if he was any higher than 1,300.

Now, AT might say Raditz is an elite warrior now, but this is the same AT who thought SSJ2 had long hair and flip-flopped on Lunch and Tenshithands' dating situation like 5 times on top of forgetting Vegetto and Taopaipai as well as miscoloring Bulma and #18's hair like he's never seen the series.

And he flip-flopped on Raditz and Nappa's elite/low-class/mid class status repeatedly too. His word has no more credibility than DBS filler right now, since he goes back on it constantly.

I'd consider the baseball and Arale episodes filler, since that shit's clearly not based on anything AT wrote for Toei. Nor even approved by him like those garbage gaming chapters in the 1-2 day wait before returning to the future in the DBS manga. (Toriyama has stated he didn't check the Black arc's scripts, only provided the rough draft and designs)

True but Nappa wasn't fighting at nearly his best until the end of the fight. He proved to be near equal to Goku so his lack of admittance is somewhat founded. Saiyans are definitely arrogant but I just don't see it in this situation. Raditz was barely able to move after that attack. It would be like Nappa telling Vegeta he could still beat Goku after taking the Kaioken x2 to the back.. not even he was that arrogant.
