How strong do you think he would be if he became a Z-fighter?

Considering he still ended up being less than 1/10th of Vegeta's power despite them seemingly fighting in the same battles, he'd max out long before his little brother and prince did. He'd still have a higher limit to what he can achieve than the humans, but wouldn't be anywhere close to the tier of the other Saiyans. I doubt he'd catch up to Piccolo's peak either, considering Piccolo's limits should be far greater than an average Namekian due to both his fusions and Average Namekian >> Average Saiyan. For what DBH is worth, he still has the possibility of achieving SS3 to make up for this, though that wouldn't be enough to keep him relevant in the long run.

He'd likely be semi-relevant in Super purely due to how many plot conveniences there is for the support cast powering up and he has the God ritual to give him an instant boost. He'd perhaps replace Boo for the U6 tournament and probably at least be capable of beating anyone other than Hit, but beyond taking care of the less relevant fighters in the ToP, he'd be pretty much done after that.

The Chaditz stomps Potara Zen-Oh though. :galu

What if Raditz was subconsciously holding himself back? Vegeta was given some training or practice if we go by the TV-Special. Maybe the Saiyans just thought to themselves well he's the prince and he was born with higher power than all of them so they just naturally assumed they can't match him. Goku never had that brain-block.

Considering Raditz spent so much time praising himself as an elite warrior, I doubt it. Then again, you could assume it was just a facade of his to hide his inferiority complex.

Well to his knowledge there were only 4 Saiyans left, so even if some of them would have had objection they were already dead. :king :king :king It also sounds like something he just tells to himself to make himself feel better, like if you tell it to yourself enough times you'll start believing it yourself.

If that were the case, a Raditz spinoff covering his struggle with an inferiority complex would be great.

That moment when you realise Raditz is potentially one of the most complex characters in the series. :eek:dawg

Well there was always the potential to dig into Raditz' back-ground and the reason he behaved himself the way he did. For example he wasn't the usual overly "mahhhhh pride" Saiyan, he wasn't above being a coward and back-stabbing.

It was also possible that Raditz just said he was an elite because on earth he was a big fish in a small pond, where-as with the Saiyans he was a small fish in a big pond. There even was filler where Raditz (or was it Nappa?) that was getting angry at Zarbon and Dodoria for belittling them.

Too bad Toriyama bought into his hype and said he really was an elite in an interview. :troll

It was Nappa, and they were belittling the Saiyans in general and not just them individually.

He's never gonna surpass Vegeta that's for sure. The only Saiyans that can surpass Goku are the ones that are special like Gohan, Vegeta and of course the sane dude called Broly.

Logically, humans' limits are at 25k, unfused Nameks' at 40k and full blooded Saiyans' (barring
Vegeta, a super rare elite, and Goku, the messiah who fulfilled an ancient alien prophecy) at
60k. But the plot makes them all as strong as needed.

Logically Goku's limit should have been hit after he drank the Ultra Divine Water. :giraffe

The divine water didn't work because Yaji drank a sip :troll2

Yajirobe reached 22nd TB Ten's level from just living as a mountain meng who seemingly never fought anyone of Cymbal's level prior to meeting Galu. He must have some immense potential compared to the other humans.

If anything, he boosted Goku's GAINZ by having the water react to his Super Male Vitality. :panties

I think the whole Saiyan potential is known at birth thing applies to Raditz jusgt as much as anyone. It's just Goku is this Jesus figure oddball so he doesnt count.

So yeah Raditz would always be trailing far behind Vegeta, much less Goku.

IMO he'd be somewhere between Piccolo and Tenshihan. I'm not sure he'd even be able to keep up with post Nail Piccolo.
