I'm gonna start a series where we rank the fights from each timeline. This should be fun!

Note: You can either base these fights either from manga or anime version.

Raditz Saga to Saiyans Saga:

1. Raditz Vs Goku And Piccolo
2. Z fighters Vs Saibamen
3. Z fighters Vs Nappa
4. Goku Vs Nappa
5. Goku Vs Vegeta
6. Gohan and Krillin w/Yajirobe Vs Vegeta

I think those were the fights that really matter I guess...

#1 - Gohan, Kuririn and Yajirobe VS Vegeta - Was the only climactic fight other than against Oozaru Goku in the Hunt for the Dragon Balls Arc to utilise all of the remaining cast through teamwork and creative twists. Easily the best fight of the arc, or the entire series for that matter.
#2 - Goku & Piccolo VS Raditz - Was good that it relied on more tactics than most Z era fights, even if it boils down to a super powerful attack and Raditz being an idiot.
#3 - Goku VS Nappa - Had a good deal of weight with Goku's emotions due to the stakes provided by the death of Piccolo and Goku's friends.
#4 - Goku VS Vegeta/Oozaru Vegeta - Pretty simplistic, but decent from a story perspective, with the strain of Kaioken adding good tension as did evading the vastly superior Oozaru Vegeta.
#5 - Z-Warriors VS Nappa - Not much other than a stomp match, but did have some weight with the death of several characters, especially Piccolo.
#6 - The Saibaimen events - All it had going for it was Yamcha's death and Kuririn's spotlight, which Nappa could've easily done himself and Kuririn's time could have come with a Kienzan doing damage to Nappa or the Genki-Dama. Completely worthless.

 

[Classic Adamas]

1. Raditz vs Goku and Piccolo.
2. Goku vs. Vegeta.
3. Z-Fighters vs. Nappa.
4. Gohan and Krillin w/Yajirobe vs. Vegeta.
5. Goku vs. Nappa.
6. Z-Fighters vs. Saibamen.

I think the Raditz fight is probably one of the best in both the manga and anime. Partially for the pretty colours of the FCM, but it perfectly handled the threat of Raditz. Really made it feel like the deck was stacked against the duo.
