Ranking the Digimon series

I didn't watch Digimon Savers or the other new one (with what I saw though I think that's a good thing). This is all going off memory. Digimon Frontiers might also be above Digimon Tamers or on-par. I really liked that series. The first one doesn't seem to have aged well from what I re-watched.

Digimon Frontier is under-rated. The series had a better adventure feeling than the first series in my opinion. Also liked the messages and the train being what brings them into the Digital World. I can't even remember how they exactly got into the Digital World in the first series. I think they were on some holiday/camp trip or something.

Yeah they were in summer camp when they were transported to the Digital World in the first series. I hated Frontier, for many reasons but mainly because of its tiresome, wacky bad guys, the main two characters getting wanked to retarded levels and the series feeling like it drags on forever because of those two factors (and Digimon's hallmark low budget animation [of which Adventure was most guilty]).

Yeah, Takuya and Kouji being the onlyones in the end to actually fight by taking everyone-else's spirits as-well wasn't good to the rest of the cast but I liked the beginning of the series. The beginning of the series had a sense of mystery without the overly childish tone of the first series, IIRC. Also Lucemon and Cherubimon were good villains. Cherubimon being a good Digimon that got corrupted and Duskmon (also the brother of Kouji) turning into a good version Digimon but different design felt like kewl concepts.

Cherubimon had like 100 minions though and none of them were interesting.

now i'm not sure again

with having seen the trailer & all for the new digimon-adventure movie & having looked-back at the series & some of the moments (also listening to the sound-track) that brought back a-lot of beautiful memories that it seems i almost might have forgot abt or didn't think abt (i think)

now digimon-adventure might be on-top again

i'm bad at ranking or saying which is better bcoz of this reason so i don't knw
