Which is the more favourable option? I am thinking of starting something new. :manabu

I read it instead of watching it. Mostly because I didn't want to waste my time with it. :manabu

I’ve seen 30 seconds of the intro before. I’m more than qualified to make this call.

Why dubbed over subbed? Hulu has both.

I honestly think the dub captures the essence of a lot of the characters a bit better on this one (Yusuke's in particular), even if the acting itself is a bit shoddy in areas.

Is the art better than HXh?

Doing either is pretty redundant at this point when Hunter X Hunter does everything it does better (and there were plenty of other Shonen before or after it the same can be said for). Still, if wanting to view it, then the form depends on your priorities. Manga goes into more detail on several events after the last main battle, but has terribly inconsistent art and the last few chapters are very anticlimactic. Anime has better art and a better ending, though does alter details on Mukuro's backstory (though the manga version was overly edgy) and has some slight powerscaling inconsistencies in the last arc. I'd say the anime is the better choice overall.

Manga-wise, it's arguable. They have comparable peaks and both become fairly lazy at points, though YYH at least never reaches scribble territory.

Anime-wise, its art is better than 1999 HxH, but vastly inferior to the 2011 version.

I will probably read the manga.

Captain Cadaver I understand that, but at this point I've read most of the quality manga that I would be interested in, so it's more about trying a new story whether it is good or bad.

I'd recommend reading Dorohedoro then

If that's the case, I could offer you plenty of recommendations, Battle Angel Alita and Hokuto no Ken, for a start.
