JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is now on Netflix (at least in the UK, not sure about the NZ/AU region). The first three parts are available, with the first anime (Parts 1 and 2) being 26 episodes and Part 3 being 48, so I guess it technically counts if including them as separate anime. Highly recommended for its entertainment value if looking for a series with a good balance between action/comedy, creativity in battles and a mix between hyperbolic 80s tropes with some campy horror and mystery elements. I'd advise only choosing the sub as whilst the dub is serviceable, it lessens the impact of some of the more entertaining reactions (eg. the way Stroheim says "Speeeeedwagggon").
Area 88 (the 80s version, not the 00s version with
CGI) is only 3 episode OVA (though the first 2 are treat as 1 episode on Kissanime). It's a good short war drama about the effect war can have on a person. Also the Ending song of the first part is great.
If wanting to dip your toes in the Gundam franchise, the movie trilogy (Mobile Suit Gundam I, II: Soldiers of Sorrow, III: Encounters in Space) is a good place to start. You'd best look on 9anime.to for that though as Kissanime's subs for the 2nd movie are really bad at times. Delving into the franchise is a long haul from there, but this makes a good start.
If you haven't delved much into Berserk, the 1997 anime is a good gateway into the series. Nowadays it can even be considered a somewhat more complete, whole circle story than the manga despite leaving out a lot of key details on character nuance and world building, considering the manga is stuck in hiatus purgatory for now. I'd recommend the dub for this one as the main cast all did a terrific job, though the amount of minor roles Sean Schemmel fills does become noticeable when you can hear Goku's voice pop up almost once an episode.
Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor is a good series about high stakes gambling with a lot of tension and a likeable protagonist. The 2nd season is a noticeable step down in quality, so I'd only really bother with it if you're super invested to see where the story goes after season 1.
There's more, but I'll leave it at this for now.
