I'll say Pocus, Zarbon, Dodoria or someone like that. My initial inclination was Yamcha seeing as he's useless in Z but that would mess with Part 1.

I'd say it's hard to remove a single character without making major changes to the plot, considering even some of the minor henchmen served some sort of narrative purpose. I'd say Lunch is probably the most disposable since her only reason for existence was for a gag that got old quick and to be the fanservice character whilst Bulma was away, her only contribution to the plot being something you could have Yamcha do instead. One of the Ginyus could also work considering they were so interchangeable in personality beyond one-note gimmicks and just served as benchmark for the Dragon Team's growth in strength, Butta in particular being cannon fodder that didn't get much spotlight.
