Two Force Users who contended with Vader face each other. Who wins?

- Both in character. Obviously Luke isn't benefiting from the rage boost at the end of the Vader fight.
- No intel for both.
- Fight takes place in the Jedi Temple.

If Ahsoka wins, make it her Clone Wars era self.

Whew lad. Rebels Ahsoka takes this, as she stood toe to toe with prime Darth Vader. Also she was a veteran of the Clone Wars at a young age and at this point had grown really into a full Jedi despite not being granted the status. At least close to it.

Clone Wars Ahsoka becomes more interesting. She's got more experience and training, and is probably better with a lightsaber overall. But in the end Luke can probably hold out due to being older, wiser, and arguably in his prime. He'd out last her and end up exploiting her hot-headedness.

My thoughts exactly on Rebels Ahsoka. Dave Filoni also stated that as of 3 BBY, only Vader and Palpatine can go toe to toe with her. I did think of placing her up against ANH Ben Kenobi due to his superior skill and him likely not being too far behind in power, but I figured RotJ Luke may open up more discussion due to how he compares to Peak Vader being a more contentious topic.

How would you say Ahsoka fares against Ben Kenobi?

Ahsoka still wins. Due to the statement you provided by Filoni, and considering who she trained under, I would consider her the closest thing to a prime Light side Anakin we may have seen (this is unintentionally aided by Lukes character assassination in TLJ and the fall of Ben Solo). I'd still put a potential Anakin>>Prime Ahsoka, but his influence on her would create a pretty strong mirror.

That being said, I'd place ANH Ben Kenobi at slightly less than his ROTS self. That balances in Ahsokas favor, although considering his performance against Maul and Vader shows he doesn't go down easy.

I think who she trained under may very well be her undoing though, as Obi-Wan's familiarity with Anakin's Djem-So is what allowed him to hold his own and defeat him on Mustafar, and Obi-Wan is more than familiar with Ahsoka's style of fighting. At the time of the Original Trilogy, Obi-Wan may very well have been one of the greatest duelling analysts of his era, considering how quickly he was able to analyse how to kill Maul, so in terms of strategy he has a significant edge against Ahsoka.

It is also widely acknowledged that Anakin was overcome with his rage and therefore reckless in his battle style. He had a kind of blind fury going that Obi-Wan wss able to wait out and exploit. I don't see this Ahsoka falling into that same adrenaline fueled mindset. But if you prefer to side with Ben's skills winning out, I won't put up with much of a fight there. I just tend to believe she'd have all the physical advantages but with a more disciplined mind that ROTS Anakin.

Well I agree to that. I'm not sure if Kenobi's skills would allow him to win out, but it'd put him on equal levels and make up for the power disadvantage.
