So, after some discussion, a new set of rules has been established when it comes to Versus topics that should hopefully help some areas of discussion to become less stale or make specifications easier.
1. No overly one-sided matchups - Pretty evident. There's not much to discuss for a matchup where everyone's in agreement that one side would stomp with ease. If the thread exceeds one page and 100% of the posters are in agreement, it ought to be considered concluded and locked.
2. No Daishinkan, Zen-Oh Bodyguard or Zen-Oh threads (for now) - The limits of these characters are highly undefined, so posting fights involving them will end up just being a web of assumptions when they have yet to be matched in-series. They should still be fair game for Other Versus match-ups, though pitting them against DB characters is for now fairly pointless.
3. Policy on Joke Battles - They're fun at times, though probably ought to be moved to the Spam section after enough time has passed for the joke to wear off (let's say 3 days or so?). They're still fine for the "XXX VS XXX" thread as by design, it's a thread for one-off responses rather than extensive discussion.
4. Closing Outdated topics - For a series with ongoing discussion like DBS, obviously topics about new characters or forms will be hot topics, but can also become irrelevant with time. For example, topics such as say, Moro VS PSSB tiers are now pretty irrelevant to discuss with what evidence we've gained, so locking them is probably for the best.
5. Specify the Super continuity - The Anime and Manga continuities of Super are very different in terms of power-scaling and feats, so it's worth specifying in the title or OP which one is being used for characters within both.
6. Be mindful about repetitive topics - Less of a rule and more just advice. Some topics will never go away such as #18 VS Base Kid Trunks, Piccolo VS Shin, etc. though it's important to consider such things have been done to death, so it may not be the best idea to post one if the general consensus on them remains the same and the last topic revolving around it is only a couple of months old. Older threads of the same nature will be merged with the new one, or you can revive an older topic if finding something new to discuss.
Other than that, just fellow the standard of things such as no flame wars and other standard forum rules.
