Opinions? Does anyone else think he is > 610?

I don't have much problem with 610, Chaozu has always been hown to have pitiful increases compared to everyone else, but yeah 610 is a very, very low number at this point in the series even Yajirobe has a higher battle power and I doubt he did much of any training.

Chaozu takes his training more seriously, and has Tenshithands as a partner. Yajirobe was forced into the training and didn't seem that interested in pursuing it.

Do you go with Saiyan arc Yajirobe at 970?

Ten takes his training more seriously than anyone in the series bar Vegeta. Tenshinhan > Ultimate Gohan?

His interest in pursuing it is irrelevant. Kami/Popo wouldn't have let him stay up there unless he actually trained.

I don't have an issue with 970.

Well Gohan is a Saiyan, and it's explicitly shown multiple times in the story Gohan's potential outstrips the rest of the main cast's. Yajirobe and Chaozu are both humans.

Do you think at any point in the story before BOZ Yajirobe was that far above Chaozu?

His interest is relevant, since they didn't spend the whole year with Kami and Popo. They had what was it, 4 months? (I don't feel like checking at the moment.) Ten and Chaozu continued to train for those months, and I doubt Yajirobe was going all out training for the Saiyans.

The Piccolo Daimao Arc, in which he was stronger than Ten. That much alone shows his potential far outstrips Chaozu's, since from what we know, he got that strong from simply living in the mountains. I'd have no problem with him bridging what gap was between them and far surpassing Chaozu if taking his training seriously.
