Like Jynx gets Flamethrowered by Charmander and faints. When you revive it it's Water type. This lasts until it faints again. If an Ice move is used on it in this state, it turns back to Ice and gets one random stat boost until it faints, from being motivated by having its powers back.
Also if it gets defeated by a move with more than 4x HP damage than its remaining HP it turns into a Ghost and Water type.
Maybe introduce a Gas type. Water pokemon become gas type if defeated by fire.
Also introduce a Cooked type.
If Bulbasaur gets scorched it becomes Cooked and Gas. edit: Squirtle I mean. Got the name wrong.
