So, Kaioshin could lift Z Sword like nothing?

If he's above Piccolo and Piccolo is CGs SSJ tier, then Kaioshin can lift Z Sword much easier than Base Gohan (attention: lift =/= pull out
of the rock). But, nothing like that was implied. If anything, the feeling i got from those scenes was that Gohan was the only one of the
trio (Gohan, Kaioshin, Kibito) who could lift the sword at all.

Piccolo fell behind the Super Saiyans again after they trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I realize that he went in there as well but they still pulled ahead of him and I believe that they pulled even further ahead of him by the time of the Buu Arc. Even SS Gohan Buu Arc is stronger than Piccolo imo.

Edit: But I bet the Supreme Kai could lift the Z-Sword after it was already pulled. He should be stronger than Goku and Gohan's base forms.

about the ''no SSJ rule, to give a chance to the others'', he could be referring only to those who needed such a handicap to

So what are they gonna do with Piccolo who is CG mid tiers? If we retcon Piccolo's CG increased then Vegeta's statement holds a value.

Piccolo reached 16's level or so, and Cell Juniors were stated to be toying.

He was the only one (sans Vegeta and Trunks) to still be standing after the Cell Juniors assault, in which even a tired SSJ Goku couldn't withstand.

I don't think Toriyama wants Piccolo looks like a trash against them since Piccolo is his favorite character.
