Everyone. South Kaoshin is easily SSJG according to the latest arc.

He probably had Pure Boo owned within seconds, turned his back to pose, and got absorbed.

Enough to solo anyone who isn't Pure Boo with his God Ki GAINZ. :troll

In all seriousness, it's most likely Pure Boo's God Ki lay dormant for similar reasons as to Good Boo being unable to utilise Dai Kaioshin's power until Super's current arc, though Super at least debunks the idea that the Kaioshin are weaker than SSJ Gohan.

What we know about the limits of South Kaioshin's power is that he's weaker than Universe 2's Kaioshin Pell according to :toei's website, both of whom should be far weaker than Zamasu according to Shin. Goku also didn't seem to indicate that South Kaioshin Boo was far stronger than Evil Boo and whilst you could argue that South Kaioshin's God Ki made it hard for Goku to sense him, he shouldn't have been able to sense him at all if that was the nature of his Ki. I'd say the best option is to say that in terms of power, South Kaioshin Boo = Pure Boo + South Kaioshin and see where the latter ends up via-scaling. Personally, I'd place him in between Evil Boo and SS3 Gotenks.

Does the current arc imply he's ridiculously high? I honestly don't know.

It sort of does with Moro implying Dai Kaioshin's God Ki made his past self stronger in general, though that causes major plot holes with things such as Shin stating that Zamasu was far above the Kaioshin of all the universes, combined with Toei confirming that Pell > South Kaioshin.

Did he say that in the last chap?

Then why didn't he one shot buu :shc
Muh Regeneration :1down

Considering the Genki Dama could kill him, doesn't that imply the Genki Dama > SSJG > Vegetto from Boo arc? Wouldn't some of that be explained by Dai Kaioshin's partial immunity to Moro's magic?

In all seriousness, I'd say South Kaioshin's failure was most likely due to him being a melee specialist that either couldn't produce a Ki attack capable of entirely enveloping Boo or didn't deduce it was the only option until Boo had already decided to absorb him, something that SK wouldn't be prepared for.

So past Dai Kaioshin is stronger than the Fat Boo-Dai Kaioshin who was dominating Moro?
That's what the chapter implies, as illogical as it is. You could rationalise it by saying Moro was just referring to the ability being exclusive to God Ki users though.
