Ginyu Tagoma got up pretty easily after SSJ Gotenks' headbutt damaged Tagoma, suggesting he'd reached a level Gotenks couldn't severely damage him, and Gohan tooled him with either SSJ or SS2. I don't think it can be chalked up to a gag either when considering Gotenks' fighting style is comedic by nature. That said, Gohan stomps unless Boo can still use his chocolate beam or tactics such as absorption and if Gohan is operating by his typical battle "intelligence" .

Sorry, I was thinking of the movie version, otherwise I agree this is stomp territory, but I'll accept answers on both.

Movie version is a lot harder to judge since all we have to go on is him being far above Piccolo and far below his Boo Arc ultimate self, which isn't exactly a range you can accurately pinpoint a place on. Considering the manga has the whole group pitching in to making a Ki signal Goku can sense rather than just Gohan, it can be assumed he's indeed weaker than in Super, though it's still arguable by how much when even Piccolo shouldn't be able to contribute significantly to someone potentially on the same level as SSJ Gotenks.
