SSj Goten was able to hold his own against Gohan, whose aura suggest that he is not holding back, or, at least, not holding back much power.

For instance, if you compare Cell's kick at FPSSj Gohan(C.G) with Goten's kick at SSj Teen Gohan, you'll see that Gohan had more trouble blocking Goten's kick.

I have Teen Gohan 2x weaker than Kid Gohan, so he is uite a bit below FPSSj Goku(Cell Games) imo, but Goten and Trunks working together is too much for Goku to handle.

In fact, it is implied that the kids are capable of surpassing Gohan soon if they train.

I have them each on par with Goku, so even with much inferior skill, they can overpower him very easily.

The two get stomped effortlessly. Sparring with Gohan & Vegeta is much different from participating in an actual fight and trying to win.

No evidence exists that places them so high, there is a reason Toriyama shit on them recently.

Team has enough power to win with ease, though Goku's far superior skill and techniques may make the difference depending on the conditions for the match. In-character, he'd eventually get overwhelmed whilst if both sides are bloodlusted, he'd find an opening to kill the kids simultaneously with a Shunkan Ido Kamehameha.
