SSJ = SSJ2 in Boo Arc

I was reading through the manga, and I found this interesting page:

Obviously, Goku is explaining his SSJ forms to the bad guys, simple stuff, but look at the panel in the bottom right.

Case closed. Babidi made a very obvious power statement here. SSJ = SSJ2. You cannot deny it.

You could argue that Babidi was talking about his appearance, as SSJ and SSJ2 look similar, but no. Comments on appearance = power statements, as shown in Battle of Gods.

Accept this truth. SSJ = SSJ2.

You are on the right track here. The fact is, he was suppressed while using SSJ1, so it is actually NormalSSJ > SSJ2. Considering we don't know if SSJ2 can suppress, logically Goku was at his maximum there when Babidi said there was no change. His NormalSSJ was factually suppressed, however.

Also, when Gohan was fighting Cell as a NormalSSJ, he didn't fight back because he didn't want to kill Cell with his NormalSSJ power. Once Cell crushed 16's head, Gohan powered down into SSJ2 so he wouldn't kill Cell instantly. Therefore, Cell arc NormalSSJs are > SSJ2s.

How is this a troll thread, Babidi literally said there was no change, therefore SSJ = SSJ2.

Because, as BoG taught us with the Freeza/Base Saiyans statement, Comments on Appearance = Power Statements.

Kibito said Gohan transformed into a Super Saiyan when the weirdos grabbed him.

Kaioshin said he had trouble stopping Super Saiyan Gohan with his powers after wondering if Super Saiyan was that strong.

So Gohan was only a Super Saiyan when he fought Dabra after all. Fuck.
