SSJ2 Gohan (S17) vs Base Vegetto (anime)

I've always been under the belief that Ultimate Gohan was already stronger than Base Vegetto, GT basically put his Base power as his ultimate state and added powerups from there. Even if Base Vegetto was stronger than Boohan, SSJ2 Gohan with a base near his Ultimate state should be more than enough to surpass Boohan range.

Base Gohan put up a fight against General Rild, who I'd see effortlessly stomping Base Vegetto, who's weaker than Gohan-Boo.

Gohan wins in base.

Gohan would stomp. He was on par with Rild, who was stronger than Boo, who was at worst equal to Base Vegetto even in the anime.

Base Gohan (Super 17 Arc) actually escaped with no injuries (other than a metalized arm and leg), so Gohan, at the least, has the durability similar to General Rilldo.

So, I'd imagine that Base Gohan (Super 17 Arc)~SSj Gohan (Baby Arc), who is likely Gohan-Boo-tier.

Gohan-Boo>Base Vegetto, so Base Gohan, let alone SSj2 Gohan, stomps.

Not according to the feats and statements. I don't doubt he was stronger than Base Goku as a Super Saiyan possessed by Baby, but probably not leagues above or he shouldn't have allowed Goku to beat him around so much. In the S17 saga he was fighting on par with Rild, although on the defensive, so that should be enough right there to prove he increased his power somehow.

Even SSJ Gohan should be enough to stomp, since he's at the very least more than 2.5x stronger than Ultimate Gohan. Logically, neither Gohan Boo nor Vegetto should be even twice as strong as that Gohan.
