For me Goku is at the very least around 45% stronger than Piccolo, so the namekian gets stomped even with his superior skill, Ki control and regen.

Even if lowballing Goku down to his Daiz battle power, he's still at 4k so he stomps unless stamina drain is still a thing, in which case he runs out of Ki before he can even land a hit.
