SSJ3 Gotenks VS Buff Boo

Since everybody here said that Gohan can still beat Boo so can Gotenks do it?

No. They are a bit apart. A gap like that doesn't work out against majin buu.

I consider Buff Boo to be stronger than Ultimate Gohan, so Gotenks would get stomped.

I concur with the above. Tank Boo is the clear winner here IMO.

Gotenks himself isn't all that far ahead of Evil Boo, so giving Evil Boo a moderate increase will give him the win. Unless his speed gets fucked by his size.

Honestly, I don't see Buff Boo being that much above Evil Boo, marginally so at best. Nothing implies the need for a noticeable gap. I could easily see Gotenks still holding the power advantage.

Regardless of that though, Boo would still be close in power with enough stamina to last this out. He takes it regardless of where you place him imo.

I meant more of a notable gap, such as say, 1.1x or so. The casual way in which Goku reacted implied it wasn't a particularly large increase.

Well, if ants like Goku and Vegeta can discern that Boo is getting stronger, I'd say it's definitely a notable gap. Generally when a power is much higher than yours, it's harder to notice a gap, like Krillin not being able to tell who's stronger between Beautiful Zarbon and Vegeta, or Piccolo being hesitant on Majin Vegeta being stronger than Kid Gohan.

Evil Boo is most of Buff Boo's power and that means Evil Boo is 75% of Buff Boo
