Well, the only thing to imply SS3 Vegetto is massively above his hypothetical Z self is the whole statement of him being comparable to a black hole, though even that doesn't say much when a black hole's mass can range from many sizes. Overall, I wouldn't place much of a difference between the two versions of Vegetto, so there's nothing to stop Goku from wrecking him even at a lower percentage. Vegetto could be debatably faster though based on calcs of his Final Ryu Flash against Broly.

Probably not much stronger than his Z self. He wasn't implied to have become much stronger, especially when Goku/Vegeta are presented as not being much stronger than their Boo Arc selves.

Yeah, though considering Goku/Vegeta had already reached their peak despite continuing to train, I can't imagine Vegetto have becoming far stronger until noted, regardless of his stature compared to those two.

Actually, Vegerrot is implied to have made enormous progress:
-On page 156, Goku says not even Vegerrot is a match for Initial Broly. Goku definitely knew Vegerrot could go
SSJ3, since he had been a part of him. And i'm sure he took some expected progress into consideration.
-On page 193, Broly powers up, blowing all Goku's previous expectations, as we can deduce from his facial
expression as well.
