The Thing has kidnapped Lilo

Why would Ben kidnap Lilo? He's not a villain, unless this is The Thing from John Carpenter's movie, or any other horror movie with a creature called "The Thing", but then I don't understand why any of those monsters would kidnap Lilo and not just kill her.

Anyway, Stitch gets stomped, assuming this is Marvel's Thing.
