Whoops, didn't see this. Sorry.

That Broly appeared before the Cell-Games happened in the anime and therefore he's below Cell's full-power. And Gohan is higher than him too.

Well I somewhat agree that it happened before the Cell Games, but there's no way M8 follows the same series of events. I remember debating this before and noting that Gohan is saved like 8 or so times in the movie by Goku and Piccolo. That's a far cry from the MSSJ Gohan we came to know, who was so powerful it made everyone crap their pants.

True. Toei used that to their full advantage to make Goku the top-power in the movie, l0l. The fact that they are doing the anime and they can just say well we didn't want to spoil for anime only-viewers, but now that I think about it maybe Pakl has a point.

Well the Daizenshuu says it's in between the Cell Games so he has :toei on his side. But there are also enough differences that one could argue they are wrong, like the fact that Piccolo can even compete and hang with the rest. He fights on the same level as Goku and SSJG2 Trunks. :toei :toei :toei

logically it'd have to have happened then, but would that change the power of anyone in-universe? probably not, but toei might not have wanted to spoil the revelation that Gohan was the highest of all of them at the time.

Well, some ppl like to use the theory that Goku and Gohan came out halfway through their training, because Vegeta killed Semi-Cell or something. I'd rather it be as close to the established story as possible, so I don't necessarily buy into that. But it does fit too.

I don't think it was Toei wanting to avoid spoilers. We've seen them do weird things like this before. Such as making Gohan's Base form nearly as powerful as his SSJ in M10. I think it's just that Toei would never put someone ahead of Goku. They always make him the best by a mile. Even :troll will move Goku to second best sometimes, even though it doesn't last for very long. :troll :troll :troll

I thought this was the common sense on the fandom :wtf

Anyway, Cell wins after a hellova fight. They're equals IMO.

Is this the Cell that fought Super Vegeta, or the one that fought Goku?

If it's the former, then Broly rapes, and if it's the latter, then Cell would likely win high diff.

This is a good fight. RSSJ Broly tanked Vegeta's kick. I think this was a hypothetical SSJ Gr2 Cell Games Vegeta in M8. That puts RSSj Broly well ahead of any heavily suppressed Cell imo. He gets pumped by FP Perfect Cell.

RSSJ Broly wins imo. He tank Vegeta's kick, which even surprise Goku. Cell move a little when Vegeta kick him.
