I mean, Blue wasn't necessarily a "main" character, but was the most prominent and threatening villain at this point in the series.

Blue and Roshi already did it. Not only that, but Blue could've utilised complete chad mode on Bulma had he swung for the other team.

He's pretty cool when he's beating up people inferior to him, but as soon as he got BTFO'd by Goku he just ended up embarrassing himself with some trash mouth blast. At least Cymbal and Drum died fighting, rather than running like Tambourine.
