It's somewhat curious that Ten decided not to see the other Z warriors besides Chaozu after the Cell Game and he in fact probably never saw them again. He also parted ways with them for 5 years after the 23rd Budokai. I wonder if he also planned not to see them again after that. Do you guys think he doesn't really see the other warriors besides Chaozu as allies and prefers staying alone with Chaozu? Why take the lonely life? Maybe sacrificing things like meeting people is in line with his warrior code, kinda thinking the hardships of retirement from the social life is a good way to toughen up himself?

I don't think it's that he doesn't see them as allies. Tenshinhan did show up to help Gohan against Boo after all.. I just think he wasn't accustomed to that sort of life in which he'd view the Z Senshi as more than just battle comrades.

He definitely sees them as allies, just not as friends. He prefers to be alone with Chaozu and focus on whatever they like to do.

It's not that they're not allies, he just cooperates with them when the situation calls for it - which of course, is mostly in relation to important battles. Another factor is, the other Z Fighters had their own paths they were on as well, even if they were not as distant. E.g. (post-Cell Saga) Krillin pursuing #18 and eventually succeeding, Vegeta continuing on with his training and being amongst his family, etc.

I think I chose the words wrongly. Should have settled for friends rather than allies.
