What happened to it? Why are there only 3 English released volumes? I feel like I missed something here.

I just purchased 2 of them, and I really like how they look. Do any of you own them?

I enjoy them. They're definitely the best way to read the manga in my opinion, but they're also very expensive, and I don't like how oversized VIZ's releases are.

Why do the humans/Piccolo have yellow auras but the Super Saiyans have white?

Super Saiyans' auras are yellow, but only when powering up or rushing in like Tenshinhan/Piccolo are on the page I posted, Super Saiyan 2s however have consistent yellow auras.

So there's a good chunk of the Boo saga I haven't seen. I have actually avoided it for the last year or so, despite having the opportunity to.

This is because, I've been holding out for the colored manga. It will be my first, and only, opportunity to enjoy dbz in manga form without any anime influence over it.

But damn, what the hell is taking so long? They aren't even done Namek in English...I'm gonna have to wait forever.

Some very minor complaints about the colors:

- I don't like that Gohan's Saiyan arc outfit was changed to purple.
- I don't like Kinto'un being changed to yellow.
- I don't like Karin being white instead of blue.
- Pure Evil Boo should've been pink instead of gray.
- Roshi's house should've been blue instead of pink.

Like I said though, at this point it's sort of on purpose. I collect the blu rays but have avoided buu saga like the plague so that I can get a fresh manga experience.

It's actually a pretty cool opportunity if it works out.

Also I didn't have cartoon network growing up.

Wrath Boo was drawn pink at some point. I wonder why that wasn't continued.

A lot of the colors in the full color releases are derived from the anime. However TOEI came up with Boo being gray is guesswork, but it's presumably to contrast Innocent Boo.

I wouldn't put too much stock into Gohan's outfit in the Saiyan arc being portrayed as green in one of the colored chapters. Goku's outfit also randomly becomes orange during the Pilaf arc despite clearly being portrayed as a dark color in the black and white chapters (and a dark purple in the first chapter).
